THE OPHIUCHUS COMPOUND
Takes place in Modern Day Siberia. The compound looks like a massive concrete jungle, surrounded by a frame of barbed wire. It's freezing cold, and the compound is in varying conditions. Some areas, specifically those that house those unselected, are more ragged than the others. The prison section is more highly guarded, and it is far harder to escape from. Depending on if you are a prisoner or unselected, you'll have one guard for ever twelve or twenty-five characters. The compound serves as a forced labor unit, and these jobs are dangerous. People such as political prisoners get off easy, while the unselected tend to have the more risky jobs, such as unjamming the turbines of a generator, which could very much result in their death.
ARIES
The natural landscape is flat, hot, and dry. There is a lot of room for construction and manual labor, and the homes are made of stone, to keep cool. The west is a lot of shipyards, which send off things that are manufactured, as well as laborers. The Aries have an exclusive title of being the most free, as their presence is often needed in other domains to assist in building. Takes place in modern day Australia, home of the Aries.
taurus
Here it is flat and somewhat dry, though there are a few natural rivers. The landscape is very large, and appropriate for the large amount of people that live here. This realm takes place in modern day Southern and Coastal Africa, excluding deserts and Madagascar.
GEMINI
This area is very cold, and has sparse access to water as a lot of it tends to be frozen over. It is isolated from much of the world save for the bullet train to the Celesadonus, though the culture of these people manages to remain easy despite this, having adapted to the environment.
cancer
Noteable for it's flat and fertile lands. Agriculture is the name of the game here. This territory is actually the second largest, second to only Meire. The breadbasket of the world, nearly all the agriculture is made her, save for select local delicacies from other realms. Lots of farming and raising animals goes on here. Takes place in the Modern day Midwest, home of the Cancer.
leo
The sunniest and hottest of all the realms, it's dry and arid here, and fresh water is a rarity, as most of the drinking water is desalinated ocean water, as technology has made such a feat possible. Takes place in Southern California, Arizona, and south Nevada.
VIRGO
This realm takes place in western Europe and is typically flat and peaceful, with not much disturbance, save for a few mountain ranges. Wildlife here is abundant, and so are resources such as water. Takes place in modern day Western Europe.
LIBRA
Modern day Asia, specifically China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Takes place on mostly low lying plains, with a warm and marshy climate that sits against the sea or on islands. Mountain ranges are not uncommon however, but these areas tend to be sparsely populated.
SCORPIO
Here it is quite cold, and has a mix of both highlands and lowlands,with a moderate summer climate, not unlike that of the Scorpio. Takes place in Eastern Europe.
SAGITTARIUS
Here tends to be more green and rainy, though you shouldn't let the rain get you down, there are so many lakes and forests up here that make it such a scenic place to visit. Takes place in modern day northern California, Washington State, and Oregon.
CAPRICORN
Cold, frosty, with a fairly chilly temperature even in the summer. The people tend to be just as cold as the climate, and can seem hostile at first glance, or even suspicious. There is a mixture of both flatland and mountain, though at a certain point if you go too far North it may be too cold and dark for you. Takes place in modern day Scandinavia, Home of the Capricorn.
AQUARIUS
Very scenic beauty, with lots of trees and a moderate climate in the summertime with a nice winter. It is noteworthy mostly for it's many parks and forest areas, which can make a beautiful setting. Home of the Aquarius. Takes place in the modern day Southern Canada and New England States.
PISCES
The temperatures are warm and the setting is very green and welcoming, with a friendly landscaping and countryside atmosphere. There is plenty of water and greenery, considered the most desirable place to live. This is modern Southwestern Europe: Spain, France, Portugal. Home of the Pisces.
THE CELESADONUS
A very technologized world capitol, teeming with lights. However, very few people actually live here, and it is mostly for the Selection Ceremonies, and for propaganda by the government. The only way to access other realms is by taking the connecting bullet train to the Celesadonus, then taking the train into the respective realm, which takes about 6 hours total, as these trains are advanced and fast. Or you could always hijack a flying vehicle, do as the Insurgency does. Takes place in modern day England.
UNCHARTED TERRITORIES
A harsh and unforgiving environment, not fit for any human to live here. This is the space between realms, muddled with frost, waste, and corpses to rot away in the worst of the world.
