Alyssa was born into the Aldenburg family; a wealthy family with a reputation and a half. But you already know that sob story. She had always been the underling of the family, due to her quite innocent aura; innocent for an Aldenburg, that is. But even then she was spoiled and pampered, just like her sister; Aurora. The two were inseparably close, in her younger years, they had to be forcefully ripped apart. Of course they would never tell you, but there was a point where they would sleep together, which was strange because they both had posh rooms and huge fluffy beds. 

Since her mother was always busy 'saving the world', as Alyssa called it, Aurora was her second mother. She watched her every move, and grew up wanting to be like her big sister, but obviously, Aurora isn't exactly the best role model. Due to this her personality is quite contradicting, since her good nature replaced by a more bratty one.

When she was aged 16, her selection was delayed a week before her 17th birthday, because of a maintenance issue. But surely enough, though some were skeptical, Alyssa was sorted into Capricorn. In celebration, Alyssa went on vacation to an island, without her sister. It had been the first time they had been apart for that long. She had a great time, but when she came back, her mother was found dead.

Alyssa was mortified, angry, confused. She wouldn't eat, sleep, talk. Not even to her sister. Eventually, she dropped out of school, and found refuge with her sister. She found a job in the government ( via Aurora ) and found a new life, and a reason to hate the Insurgence. 

Alyssa is often seen wearing pale colors, and holding a laced parasol, which color changes every other week. Due to safety reasons, Alyssa has random weapons hidden everywhere, like in her bra, or on the hem of her underwear. Which leads to many indecent incidents, like forgetting where you hid your pocket knife and stabbing your butt cheek by accident.
